How has the number of active sites using Lightning changed?
We conducted an analysis of Lightning wp theme alongside other popular WordPress themes to compile an independent research report on recent usage statistics. This study covers the period from May, 2023 - April, 2024

From May to June, the number of websites using the Lightning WordPress theme increased by 51 , representing a 10.54% rise.
From June to July, Lightning website count was a further increased of 61 websites, a 11.40 % growth.
From July to August, there was a modest increase of 117 websites, or 19.63% .
From August to September, there was a rebound with an increase of 210 websites, or 29.45% .
From September to October, the number grew by 18 websites built with Lightning, indicating a 1.95% increase.
Yet, from October to November, the number of websites rose by 5, marking a 0.53% increase.
From November to December, the number grew by 41 websites, indicating a 4.33% increase.
From December to January, the number of websites using the Lightning wp theme decreased by -3, a significant reduction of -0.30%.
From January to February, the number of websites increased by 16, a growth of 1.63% .
From February to March, there was a slight increase of 42 websites launched by Lightning, amounting to a 4.20% growth.
From March to April, the number rebounded with an increase of 12 websites, a 1.15% growth.
