How has the number of active sites using Core changed?
We conducted an analysis of Core wp theme alongside other popular WordPress themes to compile an independent research report on recent usage statistics. This study covers the period from May, 2023 - May, 2024

From May to June, the number of websites using the Core WordPress theme increased by 1 , representing a 0.11% rise.
From June to July, Core website count was a further decreased of -1 websites, a -0.11 % growth.
However, from July to August, the number of websites using Core decreased by -11, representing a -1.26% decline.
From August to September, the number of websites decreased significantly by -9, a -1.04% reduction.
From September to October, there was a sharp decline of -10 websites built with Core, a decrease of -1.17%.
From October to November, there was a decrease of -14 websites, a -1.66% drop.
However, from November to December, the number of websites decreased by -38, representing a decline of -4.58%.
From December to January, the number of websites using the Core wp theme decreased by -94, a significant reduction of -11.88%.
From January to February, the number of websites decreased again, this time by -4, marking a -0.57% decline.
From February to March, the number of websites using the Core WordPress theme decreased by -53, a decline of -7.65%.
However, from March to April, the number decreased significantly by -10, reflecting a -1.56% reduction.
From April to May. 2024, the number grew by 1 websites, indicating a 0.16% increase.
